Buzz Bingo Add New Session Bingo Room
Article Updated On 26th July 2021
In our view Gala Bingo was the top site on the Virtue Fusion platform. They had a good selection of exclusive rooms mixed with exciting player promotions. Now that Gala have moved to Entain - as reported last week - there's a vacancy to be top dog on Virtue Fusion. Mecca Bingo and Sun Bingo are probably the two best placed brands, but Buzz Bingo will also be looking to fill the position and attract players away from the new look Gala.
New Session Bingo Room
Buzz Bingo already offer potential new customers from Gala a good selection of familiar gmes. These include Housey, Rainbow Riches and Fluffy Favourites 90 Ball: all games which are no longer available at Gala. Networked rooms are joined by Buzz exclusives such as The Voice Bingo, 1p Bingo, Club Room and Buzz's Free Bingo. Joining these exclusives is a brand new Session Bingo room which has opened this week. Session Bingo is a series of games that have been linked together. Rather than buying tickets for individual games you buy tickets for the session.
Play Buzz Session Bingo
Buzz Bingo's Session games only play once a day between 7.30pm and 8.30pm. This is different to other sites with session bingo. For example Sun Bingo host four sessions each day starting at 10am, 3pm, 7pm and 11pm. We'd anticipate that Buzz are currently bedding in their new room and demand will determine whether more sessions will be added during the day. However Buzz's Session games are also slightly different to other sites. At Sun Bingo all players pay the same price and get the same number of tickets. Buzz offer a choice of prices: £5 for 3 tickets, £10 for 6 tickets, £15 for 9 tickets and £20 for 12. Remember you get tickets for each of the games during the session.
According to Buzz you save £2.50 by purchasing three tickets for Session Bingo. We guess this is compared to playing an hour of bingo and buying three tickets for each game. We like the premise of Session Bingo as it brings the club atmosphere online. You know when you're playing and have a fixed price. Provided you're not tempted to try side games or start purchasing tickets for other rooms you can have an hour of fun for a fiver. Make a date of it with fellow roomies and you can also enjoy chat too. The only thing we're not keen on with Buzz's Session Bingo is that all players may not have the same number of tickets!
A Mix Of Games
So what should you expect when playing Buzz's Session Bingo? We anticipate they'll be at least 12 games during the hour and the type of game should be mixed. Whether that mixture includes 75 and 80 ball games we don't know but we expect tthat 90 ball will be the main variant. They'll also be featured games such as 1T and 2TG. In these games if you are on 1TG or 2TG when the full house is called then you'll win a share of a prize pot. To celebrate the launch of the room Buzz are also running £1000 full house prizes at the end of every session (July 2021).
More New Games For Buzz?
The addition of Session Bingo to Buzz is a good start but maybe extra variations of the numbers game are required. Could a 50 ball variant like Coconut Island be on the cards and maybe a version of Bingo Beats? In fairness we haven't seen much that's "new" from Playtech/Virtue Fusion of late so perhaps this is the start of a new chapter for the platform? It's going to be very interesting to see how Buzz and other brands on Virtue Fusion react to the departure of Gala from the platform.
