August is usually a quiet month for online bingo but this isn't a usual time. With the departure of Gala Bingo from Virtue Fusion there's an exciting promotion running across the sites that Gala have left behind. Each week in August the likes of Buzz, Paddy Power, The Sun, Betfred, Mecca, Kitty and William Hill are all hosting the £250,000 Bingo Prize Draw. But in an interesting twist Gala, Foxy and Cheeky are hosting their own version of a £250K giveaway. All in all it's a very exciting time for bingo!
Virtue Fusion's £250,000 Bingo Prize Draw
The £250,000 Bingo Prize Draw runs across multiple sites between the 2nd and 29th August. Each week players need to opt-in and qualify for the prize draw. To enter the draw you simply need to log into your bingo account and place a £5 cash stake on any qualifying bingo room. Every subsequent £5 wagered will also earn you an entry. Note that entries are only for the week when you wager and they don't roll over from week to week. There is no limit to the number of entries that can be made or prizes to be won.
The Prizes
There are 2005 prizes to be won in weeks 1 to 3 of the promotion but for the final week (23rd to 29th August) there are 4010. The top prize on offer for each week is £500 but other prizes range from £10 to £200. In the first three weeks you'll have the chance to win 1 of 10 x £500 prizes but this jumps to 1 of 20 x £500 prizes in week 4. We quite like that Virtue Fusion are creating lots of decent sized prize winners for this promotion as it gives more players the chance to win. Note that the prizes are shared by all entrants across all sites participating in the promotion.
Prize Draw Incentives
Whilst some sites are happy to just host the promotion "as is" a couple of brands have added a bit of extra spice to proceedings. At Mecca Bingo for example if you earn 5 entries by staking £25 Monday to Sunday, you will also get access to Mecca's exclusive Sizzling Summer free bingo session! The free bingo session will offer a minimum total prize pot of £2500 on Monday 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th August 2021 for qualifying players. All prizes are paid out as cash and therefore no wagering terms will apply to any winnings.
Win Weekly With Paddy Power
Joining Mecca Bingo in the incentive stakes are Paddy Power Bingo. All Paddy Power Bingo players who qualify for the £250,000 Bingo Prize Draw between the 2nd and 8th August 2021 will also be included in an exclusive draw for the chance to win a £1000 Staycation. Note that players who on Deal or No Deal Multiplier Bingo will pick up 2 entries into the Holiday Giveaway. We expect that there will be other incentives for weeks 2, 3 and 4 of the promotion. Although other sites don't have such incentives for this particular draw they do have other promotions such as free bingo (The Sun), The Bonus Drop (William Hill), Bingo Ball Scratcher (Betfair) and Spinner Winner (Buzz).
Weekly £50K Draw At Gala
There's definitely a bit of a battle going on between Gala and Virtue Fusion because lo and behold Gala have an almost identical promotion. Opt-in and wager £5 on 80 Ball, 75 ball, Castle, Metropolis, DOND90, DOND75, Rush or Fluffy Favourites Bingo to qualify. There are 10 x £500 top prizes each week but the big difference between Gala's promotion and that being ran by Virtue Fusion is Gala are offering a £10,000 everyone's a winner pot. This share pot will be split equally between all eligible players that do not win one of the main prizes in a weekly prize draw. In addition this promotion is being shared with Gala's new sister brands that include Foxy and Cheeky.
